Hello Modern Piping team,
I'm very happy to let you know that I have received my three Temple Tone Chanter Protectors safely here in Provence (France).
They arrived in perfect condition, and I am very pleased with them. I would like to share a photo of one of the Temple Tone together with you.
Thank you very much for your excellent service and for sending them all the way from Port Macquarie to France!!!
Kind regards,
Christophe
A huge thank to Modern Piping for generously sharing this wonderful piece of music , Altera Terra , with the whole community.
Best regards
Christophe
Thank you so much for your kind words, Christophe! We're delighted you enjoyed Altera Terra. We hope you enjoy every note! 💙
Great chanter, well made and will last forever
“Will last forever” is quite the compliment, Robert! We put a lot of care into making the Hilton Chanter something you can enjoy for years to come, so it means a lot to know the quality has made such an impression. Here’s to plenty of music ahead! 🎶
This tune is a banger. Waiting to see a band play it as an opener in G1!
Now that would be something to hear! We’ll be keeping our ears open for the day a band takes it to the field! Thanks, John 💙
I love the tune, but haven't started working in it yet. New tune season with the band which I must concentrate on first.
Totally understandable, Leonard! We hope the new set comes together beautifully, and we’ll be curious to hear what you think once you finally get around to this one! 🎶
My son is really enjoying learning this tune. Thank you!
Thank you, Sarah! It’s lovely to hear your son is enjoying learning Altera Terra! We hope he has plenty of fun getting to know the tune and making it his own as he plays. 💙
Great instrument!
Fun to play with circular breathing with unlimited melodic and rythmic potential.
Now that sounds like a fun combination, Thomas! We love that you’re already discovering the possibilities and making the instrument your own. Keep exploring! 😊
Great tune!
We're so glad you enjoyed Ode to the Patron. Thanks for your support, Devon! 💙
Of course a best part of each month is seeing what LH provides the universe of bores pipers to challenge their spirits fingers and little grey cells to go far far beyond the music of long dead pipe majors. More complex embellishments and harmonies and counter points bring a spirit of classical music quality to the adventure. Thank u for sharing!
We absolutely love this description, SF! It’s brilliant to know the embellishments, harmonies, and counterpoint are giving you that deeper musical adventure. Thanks for being along for the ride and for embracing the challenge! 😄
Professional and well constructed magazine that appeals to both seasoned pipers and novices.
That’s exactly the kind of reader we had in mind! Thanks for spending some time with it and sharing your thoughts, Doug! 😊
I like the Song very mutch. Thanks
Thanks for giving it a place in your repertoire, and happy piping! 🎶
The best ever

Beautiful tune, can’t wait to play it with my band.
I love that you’re already picturing this one with your band, Christian! We hope it becomes one of those tunes your band genuinely enjoys coming back to. Have fun bringing it to life! 😊
need a good fingerwork
Sounds like 400% is giving your fingers a proper challenge! It’s definitely a tune that keeps you on your toes, but that makes it all the more satisfying when it starts to come together! Keep at it, and we’ll be cheering those fingers on, Jorg! 🎵
